I always like to train on the last day of the year and the first day of a new year. Yesterday I swam and today I ran. Today’s run was introspective. Nothing epic, but a chance to think, hope, wish, and dream. The start of a new year is a great time to create goals and figure out how to achieve them.

James Clear, author of the book Atomic Habits, nails it when he says:

“New goals don’t deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is not an outcome, it is a process. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better rituals, not chasing better results.”

Happy New Year to all – dream big – and create habits and rituals to transport you there!
