Triathlon Clinic
Dates: June 11-12, 2021
Time: Friday 6pm – 8pm, Saturday 8am – 4pm
Location: Friday TBD, Saturday Springbank High School
Cost: $99 (Participants must have a valid 2021 Tri AB membership)
What to expect: During this 10 hour clinic, you will train and learn from several long-standing triathlon and cycling coaches from LYNX and The Doctrine. Friday night there’s a meet and greet and coached open water swim session. Saturday will include a transition clinic, bike handling / skills session, a ride on the Calgary 70.3 bike course, brick run, and Q & A wrap up.
This clinic is suitable for all levels of triathletes and will be extra beneficial for anyone racing Calgary 70.3 this year.

Wednesday Night Cycling Club
Dates: June 2 – August 18, 2021
Distance: varies based on ability – something for everyone!
Time: 6:30pm – ready to roll!
Location: Meeting spots vary
Cost: $250
What to expect: These weekly rides are on roads and pathways around Calgary and are a great way for triathletes to improve their cycling skills. The Doctrine has an amazing crew of coaches to lead the way, help you hone your cycling skills while you meet up with friends each week for a social ride. Better cyclists make better triathletes!
All riding abilities welcome. Participants are placed in groups based on riding experience, skill level and goals.

Guided Ride #1: Highway 1A
Date: Saturday, May 22, 2021
Distance: 40k, 60k 110k
Time: 9:00am – ready to roll!
Location: Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre
Cost: $50
What to expect: This guided and supported ride is an early season exploration of the 1A Highway and suitable for all levels of riders. There will be three ride distances to choose from that each include a cycling coach, ride nutrition, and bike mechanical help to ensure you have a great day.
Guided Ride #2: Sheep River Falls
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2021
Distance: 56k or 68k
Time: 9:00am – ready to roll!
Location: Eau Claire Distillery, Turner Valley
Cost: $50
What to expect: This guided and supported ride explores Sheep River Falls. A road bike is appropriate but there will be a gravel bike option as well that goes up George Creek. Each ride option includes a cycling coach, ride nutrition, and bike mechanical help to ensure you have a great day.
